However during registration the regular member registration fees will reflect. Although we will make every effort (including extending the playing time on Friday and Saturday if required), there is every possibility that the tournament will get extended beyond the scheduled end time of 5:30 pm on Sunday, November 2. All the participants should make a note of this and plan their itinerary accordingly.




!!! Team USCA off to Maldives !!!


A four member team comprising of Dr. Shivaram Gowdagere, Atul Bhave (also the team Manager), Murali Balasubramanyam and Jayadev Suryadevara will represent USCA in the upcoming Carrom World Cup to be held in Maldives from Sep 13 - Sep 17 2014.


Since its inception in 1996, USCA has hosted multiple international carrom tournaments including the last World Cup held in Richmond, Virginia in 2010, where Yogesh Pardesi (India) clinched the World Title in a nail biting finals against his fellow country man Radha Krishnan. Also, the US pair of Saravanan Babu and Neil Khatu clinched the third spot in the Doubles Event in this tournament. A big achievement at the world stage!


USCA has also participated in various international carrom tournaments held all across the globe in countries like France, UK, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka to name a few. USCA wishes its players and all the participants in this World Cup the best.

The all Canadian pair of Francis D'Costa & Moaz Shaikh wins the Doubles Championship. They defeated the seasoned players Sekhar Challa & Madhu Rao in straight 2 sets.

Dallas v/s Houston Test Match - March 2nd & 3rd

Dallas - Houston Carrom Test Match will be conducted on March 2nd & 3rd weekend in Richardson, TX. This Match is conducted by the Dallas Carrom Club on behalf of the US Carrom Association and is sponsored by the India Association of North Texas and Tajmahal Imports. This is the 2nd Test Match in the Series. The first one was conducted in Houston a couple of years ago. The following players from Houston will be visiting Dallas: Rajesh Desai, Ravi Wagle, Ibrahim Tawawala, Yogi Patel, Aditya Chavali, Siraj Lalani. The following players will be participating from Dallas: Shivaram Gowdagere, Shibu Jose, Hemant Khetade, Pramod Shah, Renuka Shah, Prakash Kagal, Shreenivas Mallisetti.



NJ Carrom Club wins the test match against Canada 8-4

The players from NJ Carrom Club travelled to Markham, Canada on the weekend of Jan 4-6 to play a test match series against Canada. Canada was on a high after clinching the 4th place in the team event of the recentlty concluded World Championships in Sri Lanka. But the seasoned players of NJCC easily overcame their challenge by winning the singles 5-3 and the doubles 3-1, thereby winning the test series 8-4.

The only white slam was scored by Umair Kamal of Canada in his singles match against Sekhar Challa of NJ.

Francis D'Costa & the rest of the Canadian team were excellent hosts and the NJ players had a great time.

Saravanan Babu wins the 2012 US National Championship.

He defeated Sekhar Challa in two straight sets to clinch his 6th National title in a row.


Saravanan Babu & Neil Khatu wins the Doubles Championship.

They defeated the defending champions Sekhar Challa & Vishal Karangutkar in straight 2 sets.

The 6th World Carrom Championship will be organized by the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka under the authority granted by the International Carrom Federation.
